Haripriya Narasimhan is Assistant Professor of Social Anthropology and Sociology at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Haripriya’s research interests are in medical anthropology, media anthropology, and climate change. Her fieldwork experience spans urban, rural, and tribal areas in India, including Tamil Nadu and Mumbai, Maharashtra. Connecting her research interests in health and media, Haripriya is venturing into the field of digital health. She researches health care decision-making, chronic diseases, globalisation, caste, kinship, and gender.
