Raychel Gadson

Research FellowRaychel Gadson is a PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University studying Political Science. Her research focuses on urban politics, housing and environmental justice, and community organizing. Raychel has a background in African and African American studies and mass communications. Her work explores the intersection of urban politics, public health, and Black feminist thought, centring on the needs of Black women and the importance of community-driven solutions. Raychel will be working as a postdoctoral researcher in Baltimore, doing ethnographic research on the environmental justice organizing in the city to end incineration.
