Andrea Azizi Kifyasi is a senior lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Kifyasi specialises in medical history and is interested in global health, China’s aid to Africa, and medical diplomacy. His ongoing research examines the collaborations between government and non-governmental organisations in providing healthcare services for people living with HIV in the Iringa region of Tanzania, from the 1980s to 2022.
