Having graduated in Community Health, Ndèye Fatou Senghor focuses her academic interests on infectious disease prevention, community engagement, and the promotion of sustainable and inclusive health solutions. She is currently exploring the widespread use of single-use plastic medical devices in healthcare systems, their adoption trajectories, their multiple impacts, and potential sustainable alternatives in Senegal. As a Research Assistant at CRCF in Dakar for the past three years, Ndèye has contributed to various public health projects, including COVID-19 vaccination among populations vulnerable to HIV and studies on the factors of HIV vulnerability among key populations, particularly lesbians and female sex workers.
